A lot of parents and children have expressed their interest in participating in ASSET. Most of these queries are addressed when the school agrees to take the test. For children whose schools are not taking ASSET we offer ASSETOnline - an online version of the ASSET test.

ASSET test attempts to accurately measure the clarity with which the student has understood a concept - a very important exercise for checking wrong understanding at an early stage in the student’s career.

ASSETOnline, being the exact same test available on the internet, makes available all these benefits at the time and place convenient to you.

Moreover, unlike the paper based ASSET test:
1) A student can take this diagnostic test herself- now you do not have to wait for her school to start offering it.
2) If the school does offer ASSET, it is now possible to practice taking a similar exam before appearing for the test at school!
3) You can monitor the student’s progress more than once a year, by simply going online and taking a new test!

Being an online test, ASSETOnline tests are not taken under uniform supervised conditions. Understandably, individual scores cannot become a measure of competitive performance. Scores however have high diagnostic value when the tests are taken honestly by the student.

Taking ASSETOnline is simple. All you need to do is go to www.assetonline.in and register for no cost.

After the registration, you may take the free demo tests of 5 questions each. Demo tests will be give you a feel of what will the full ASSETOnline test be like. Taking the relevant full test is self-explanatory and easy. Specific number of questions has to be answered in a given time. Just like a paper based test, it is possible to move back and forth between questions; and ‘mark’ questions you want to come back to, later. What’s more, time taken in between 2 questions for data to come and go is not taken into account, as it may vary for each user depending on his/her internet speed.

What is the difference between ASSETOnline & ASSET through Schools?

ASSETOnline & ASSET through schools are different tests. Fundamentally, they are both based on similar concept of diagnostic skill-based testing, however they are different on these grounds:

1)ASSET through schools is taken under regular supervised conditions, where ASSETOnline can be taken from any premise with an Internet connection and thus any supervision is not possible.

2)A certificate is given to each student for participating in ASSET through schools, which is not available in ASSETOnline.
