Advance Registration Benefits
To encourage schools to plan their registration in advance, we offer some unique benefits to schools. These benefits give schools the opportunity to go beyond diagnosis into actual improvement, thus completing the loop of Test-Target-Transform.
In our discussions with partner schools, it has emerged that they would like to benefit from our assessment expertise beyond the diagnostic and benchmarking benefits offered by ASSET. The essential need is to help teachers in improving their own internal assessment methods and make assessment an integral part of the teaching – learning process. Such collaborations should have applicability in the classroom setting and not be limited to a once-a-year engagement.
Based on the above feedback, we have designed the 2009 offer with our “ASSET Test Generator”, that will help teachers create customised question-papers in a short span of time. The “ASSET Test Generator” tool will have an array of question types (not just the multiple-choice types) –such as fill in the blanks, true or false, short answers and others. The questions
will cover a wide range of levels from very easy to very difficult, thus allowing teachers to set papers at the level appropriate for their class and school. The content is aligned to ICSE, CBSE, IGCSE, IB and State Boards, and classified by topics aligned to day-to-day teaching and assessment. Questions will be available online and therefore, accessible at any time throughout
the year.
The “ASSET Test Generator” tool is offered FREE of cost to eligible teachers of schools that register in advance before April 30th with a minimum of 200 students. To avail of the offer, the schools will also have to pay a minimum of 30% of the payment before the due date of April 30th, 2009. Access to the “ASSET Test Generator” would be made available from July
1, 2009.
The “ASSET Test Generator” will include a compilation of questions from many schools and teachers across the country, who can contribute to the question content of the tool. This compilation will widen the choice of questions available to partner schools who sign up under the Advance Registration Opportunity.
