ASSET® Pentathlon – a one of it’s kind contest for students.

EI launches ASSET® Pentathlon - a unique contest for students in classes 3-8. The objective of this contest is to encourage students to showcase application of concepts learnt at school in real life situations.
Students in teams of two will perform 5 rounds of indoor and outdoor activities. These activities will be different for juniors (classes 3-5) and seniors (classes 6-8). Entry to the competition is free.

Over 18,000 schools across India would be invited to participate in the competition. They would be sent a competition kit in early November and students can submit the entries to their class teachers by Dec 5th. Teachers will be required to shortlist the best entries in their class by Dec 24th for the national round and send them to EI.

Since the contest is fun-oriented with a large number of small and big prizes, EI expects at least 50,000 students to participate. All students who qualify for the national round get educational prizes and certificates and the 12 national winners gets a chance to attend “Youreka” - the 8-day summer outdoor program that helps children build confidence in life skills.
