The school also organized ‘ASSET CIRCLE TIME’ - where students sit in circles on floor in the classroom and discuss the previous years’ question papers among themselves. This enhances their logical and analytical skills and boosts their confidence further encouraging them to take on more challenging questions. This also helps the students to clarify any misconceptions that they harbour. This kind of interactions helped them to have healthy debates while solving a problem posed to them. Teachers discuss questions that have repeatedly been causing doubts among the students.
Students were asked to prepare their own questions and they were read out in the class. The best questions were chosen and displayed on student notice boards across the school and read out in the class assembly.
Children were encouraged to go to the library to refer to the previous year’s question papers so that they get familiar with the question paper pattern. Children were reminded not to memorise any answers as it does not test intellectual capacity of the child but the skills in solving the problem posed to them.
