The ASSET questions have been widely recognized for their ability to trigger the thinking process in children and to expose them to a fresh and unique way to check their own understanding of key concepts covered in the school curriculum. Based on the suggestion of school Principals and teachers the ASSET team is offering ALL students the option to register for ASSET Question-a-Day. Upon registration each student will be emailed daily ONE ASSET question every day for 9 months starting July 09 which the student can then respond to with his answer. The correct answer will be emailed the next working day with the next day’s question and so on.

The benefits envisaged through ASSET Question-a-Day are

  • Exposure to good questions that trigger real learning.
  • A useful daily regimen to dissuade last minute cramming and encourage regular interaction with innovatingve learning material.
  • A large compilation of good questions at the end of the year that can be used in multiple ways.

The offer of ASSET Question-a-Day is open to all students who participate in ASSET 2008.
 

Mindspark is a path-breaking self-learning program based on “digital adaptive logic” principle designed to improve your child’s learning. Through a scientific method of presenting a series of questions starting with the child’s current level, the program takes to child to higher level of conceptual understanding of key concepts in each topic.

Mindspark is a computer and internet based offering, and each child would be given a unique login and password. The ideal recommended usage time is 30 minutes per day and in the current offer, a 15 day package (from the date of registration) is being offered free to all students appearing in ASSET 2008. The program is currently available for Mathematics only and students from classes 3 to 9 can benefit from the modules.
