Residential Experience
Residential Experience
In addition to having the opportunity to study academic topics at the university level, Duke TIP in India students experience a structured version of university life. Residential counselors (RCs) provide social and recreational activities during evenings and on weekends.
Residential Staff
A staff of RCs is chosen from a large group of outstanding undergraduate and graduate students through a competitive application and interview process. These RCs supervise the students outside of the classroom. They live in residence halls with students, organize social and recreational activities, serve as role models and enforce behavioral guidelines. Each RC supervises a group of 10-12 students.
Housing
Students are housed in residence halls on a university campus. They are assigned to a single or double room and are separated by gender.
