As a participant in the Talent Search, you will have the opportunity to:
Take the Above-Level ASSET
Taking a test designed for 9th standard students, while in 7th standard, will help you gain greater insight into your academic abilities.
Understand Your Scores
Soon after your test, you will receive a score report from Educational Initiatives that compares 7th standard scores to high school student scores. Educational Initiatives will send a Results Summary that allows families to understand how students performed relative to other 7th standard students throughout India. It also provides suggestions for educational development based on performance.
Utilize Talent Search Resources
As part of the Duke TIP family, you will receive an e-newsletter twice a year through your 9th standard year. Learn more about your academic potential and have access to resources that will assist you in achieving your educational goals.
Receive Special Recognition
All students will receive a certificate recognizing their participation.

Duke TIP has a wide range of educational programs with need-based scholarship opportunities, including Independent Learning resources. Exceptional performance on the ASSET may qualify you for our renowned Summer Studies Programs (intensive three-week residential sessions) or for an e-Studies Program where students participate in rigorous academic coursework in a virtual learning environment.
