ASSET PANcard allows Performance tracking across the years PANcard.
From the developers of ASSET here’s another first - a PANcard for every student that helps track improvement across the years!
Right now ASSET provides a way of benchmarking a student’s performance with that of his peers across the country. This helps students know how they have performed - question-wise or overall - compared with other children from schools across the country. It is interesting to realize that this is the same peer group the child will be competing with in the Board Exams, competitive tests and beyond!
The other powerful use of ASSET PANcard is of course to track a student’s performance across classes. If a student is weak in a particular skill in Maths, how has that changed from say, class 4 to class 7? In a sense, the student is competing with his own past performance and trying to better it. This becomes possible with the PANcard.
The PANcard is completely FREE and automatically issued to every student, who writes ASSET for the first time!
To avail of this service, parents may apply through the EI Website and enter the PAN number and the years for which comparison is sought. The child should have of course taken the ASSET test during the years in question.
While children may be happy to have their own PAN number like their parents, their PAN card simply contains a unique number which identifies a student and remains the same across years. For a given student, this number will NOT change when he/she moves to a higher class. The PAN number will not change even if student changes schools.
The PAN number is a 9 digit number. It should be carefully noted in a safe place. There will be a space on the answer sheet for the student to note his/her PAN number. The PAN Card should not be misplaced. If it is lost, however, a duplicate PAN card will be issued for a payment of Rs 50/-.
The PANcard contains the child’s Name, Permanent ASSET Number and date of birth. If any of these details are incorrect, a mail should be sent to info@ei-india.com. The PANcard should be registered at www.ei-india.com/pancard. It is also necessary for students to sign at the reverse of the PANcard for it to be valid.
A unique PANcard will be sent to every student along with his/her first ASSET analysis. It will NOT be sent in subsequent years, as the PAN number will not change but remain the same.
Apart from these benefits, the PANcard can be used to obtain special discounts on educational products.
The design of the PAN card has been made keeping in view children’s preference for bright and attractive colours!
- Every student who writes ASSET will receive a FREE PANcard
- The card can be used to track performance across the years
- Students should sign on the reverse and register it at http://www.ei-india.com/pancard/ on receipt
